- The Regional Health Contracting Office - Pacific intends to award a firm-fixed price, personal services contract for psychiatrist services at Brian Allgood Army Community Hospital (BAACH), USAMEDDAC-K, Yongsan, Seoul, Republic of Korea. This requirement is for a period of performance from 01 April 2016 through 31 March 2017 (Base and 4 Option Periods). Requirements for the healthcare provider include but are not limited to: 1) Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited graduate school of Medicine. The physician must have completed a Psychiatry residency training program approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. The physician must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Psychiatry. 2) Shall have and maintain a current license to practice Medicine in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands that allows for the independent practice of clinical services. This license must be current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration), valid (the issuing authority accepts and considers QA information (i.e. practitioner professional performance and conduct in determining continued licenses)), and unrestricted (not subject to restriction pertaining to the scope, location, or type of practice ordinarily granted to other applicants for similar licenses in granting jurisdiction). 3) Must have a minimum of two years' post-residency experience in a clinical setting. Must have a minimum of one year's experience within the last three years of providing professional services to adults in a clinical practice setting: clinical services provided should include diagnostic assessment and individual treatment, including pharmacotherapy. Clinical experience should include assessment and/or treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, and familiarity with Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG's). The proposed acquisition will be unrestricted. This solicitation package will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/)on or about 01 February 2016. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued and no solicitation mailing list will be compiled.
