- Pre-solicitation Notice: PMA-268 requires a second bridge contract for program management support services. Specifically, the support services include program management, acquisition management, security, government furnished equipment management, configuration/data management, risk management, and operations activities in support of Program Executive Officer for (Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons), Unmanned Carrier Aviation Program Office (PMA-268). NAICS: 541330 PSC Code: R408 Response Date: 15 Days (January 28, 2016, 2:00 PM Eastern) Contacts: Thomas Conrow, Contracting Officer, 301-342-2186, AIR 2.5.1.10.13, e-mail thomas.conrow@navy.mil George Rivers, Contract Specialist, 301-757-9725, AIR 2.5.1.10.10, e-mail george.rivers@navy.mil The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole source contract to Bowhead Science and Technology LLC, 4900 Seminary Road, Suite 1000, Alexandria, VA 22311-1858 in support of PMA-268 Unmanned Carrier Aviation Program Office, for program management support services located at Patuxent River, MD. This support of PMA-268 is a bridge requirement and a stand-alone contractual effort. The purpose of this acquisition is to provide up to twelve (12) months of continued program management, support services in support of PMA-268 until the follow-on can be awarded. The period of performance for this effort will be 1 February 2016 through 31 January 2017. The primary place of performance is Patuxent River, MD. This effort is being awarded on a sole source basis pursuant to the provisions of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii)(B), Only Bowhead can perform the required continuation of effort without unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements.
