- Barcode Instructions for the NIH Supply Center This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this acquisition is CH01132016A and the solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and its incorporated provisions are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2005-70). This acquisition will be processed as a fixed price requirement and is a Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 339940, and the small-business size standard is 100 employees. The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director (OD), Office of Acquisition and Logistics Management (OLAM), Division of Logistics (DL), NIH Supply Center (NIHSC) is looking to procure the items listed below: Description Qty Price Extended VARIDESK # PRO PLUS 36 90 EA ________ ________ Product Code: 711000N151112 Description: VARIDESK: SIT TO STAND SPRING ASSISTED ADJUSTABLE WORK SURFACE, SIT ON TOP OF EXISTING DESK, TWO-TIER DESIGN: UPPER DISPLAY SURFACE, LOWER KEYBOARD/ MOUSE DECK, 36" WIDE FOR LARGE DUAL MONITOR SET UPS,STURDY AND STABLE EVEN WHEN FULLY EXTENDED, HOLDS UP TO 35 LBS MANUFACTURER: VARIDESK # PRO PLUS 36 Items must be barcoded prior to delivery (instructions attached). This is a brand name only solicitation. The government intends to award just one award to the offeror who can provide all of the items listed within a 7 day delivery timeframe. If no offerors can satisfy the entire requirement, we may use the quotes as a price list to award the remaining items not on the list. The government’s priority for award is first, delivery timeframe, and second, price. There is no Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) rating assigned to this acquisition. Option for Increased Quantity (Mar 1989) The Government may increase the quantity of supplies called for in the Schedule at the unit price specified. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within 3 months from award. Delivery of the added items shall continue at the same rate as the like items called for under the contract, unless the parties otherwise agree.
