Description

Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center, located at 1481 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202-2803, intends to award a sole sourced, firm fixed price purchase order for repair services for a Maquet Medical Systems manufactured CS300 Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump system for the replacement of a pressure transducer. NAICS Code for this acquisition is 811219, size standard $20.5 million. The Government intends, in accordance with FAR 13-106-1(b), to negotiate on a sole source basis with Maquet Medical Systems USA, 45 Barbour Pond Drive, Wayne, NJ 07470-2094 for this procurement. The Contractor shall provide all supplies, materials, labor, knowledge, techniques supervision, test equipment, and transportation necessary to perform the repair requested by the Richard L Roudebush VA Medical Center in strict accordance with the statement of work, all schedules, and terms and conditions of the resultant order. This notice is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available. A determination not to compete is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses must be received NLT 3:00 pm EST on January 15, 2016. No telephonic inquiries or mailed responses will be accepted. All responses must be e-mailed to Network 11 Contracting Officer assigned this acquisition, Mr. Jared Tritle, at Jared.Tritle@va.gov.
