- Washington Headquarters Services will be conducting an Industry Outreach Day on February 16, 2016 from 8:30am - 12:30pm EST at the MOC Building located at 110 Boundary Channel Drive Arlington, VA 22202. The objective of this conference is to provide a meet & greet capability interview for small business contractors while aligning the scheduling and permitting procedures with industry. Sign-in and check-in will start at 8:30am; presentations will begin at 9:00am. In order to participate in this Industry Day, participants must register by submitting an email with company name, attendee(s) name, and point of contact information (i.e. email and phone number) to Sara.C.RodriguezMatos.Civ@mail.mil no later than Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 3:00pm EST. Upon registration, a confirmation email with a parking permit will be sent out to each participant to fill-out and return. Attendees to the Industry Day will receive a signed one day-parking permit for approval to enter the site. Please limit personnel to two (2) maximum per company. This Industry Day event is open to all interested parties; however, the ECM Division desires to meet with companies whose expertise are aligned with construction project management, scheduling and other Primavera software systems. These vendors will have the unique opportunity to brainstorm with the Project Control Division to create a new scheduling and permitting system within the Washington Headquarters Services – Engineering and Construction Management Directorate. Due to space limitations, no more than two (2) attendees from each company will be permitted to attend and registration will be based on a first come, first served basis. Once occupancy has been met, registration will be closed. The agenda will include a meet and greet by ECM's Directorate Director - Mr. Hal Creel and Branch Chiefs – Mr. Michael Stebbing, Dr. Georgine Glatz, Dr. Ali Bakhshi, and Mr. Richard Nelson. Attendees will be provided the opportunity to meet and greet with WHS Construction Managers, Designers, and Project Control Personnel and present their capability brochures to led contracting specialists. Vendors that are interested in providing a capability briefing will have the opportunity to do so from 11:45am to 12:30pm. Those who are interested in opportunities should provide a capability statement at the Industry Day. At a minimum, the capability statement should include: • Name and address of firm • Point of contact with name, title, phone, and email • DUNS number and/or CAGE code • Indicate socio-economic status with applicable NAICs • Bonding Capacity (for construction only) • Security Clearance. Indicate whether your firm currently possesses, have possessed in the past, or have never possessed a DoD Industrial Security Facility Clearance at the SECRET or TOP SECRET level. Attendance at the scheduled Industry Day and any discussions or release of information is strictly voluntary. The Government is not responsible for any costs incurred for travel or participation in this Industry Day.
