- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum, NY anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a Requirements contract for Asphalt located at Fort Drum, NY. The Government intends to award a single contract for Asphalt located at Fort Drum, NY. The contract type will be a Requirements Contract with Fixed Unit Prices (IAW FAR 16.503 Requirements Contracts) with Economic Price Adjustment (IAW FAR 16.203 Fixed Price Contracts with Economic Price Adjustment). This requirement is 100% set aside for Small Business Administration Certified 8(a) firms. The Contractor shall provide all supervision, plant, labor, material and equipment necessary to perform all work in connection with construction of new, and repair/replacement of existing, asphalt concrete pavement at Fort Drum, New York, in strict accordance with the Statement of Work, specifications and drawings, and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. The anticipated contract will be one, 36-month ordering period from approximately 01 May 2016 through 30 April 2019. Any correspondence concerning this acquisition shall reference IFB number W911S2-16-B-8000 in the subject line. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 237310, Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction, size standard $36.5 Million. IAW FAR 36.204, the Government anticipates the magnitude of this Requirements Contract to be between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00 for the 36-month ordering period. The anticipated posting date of the IFB is no sooner than 15 days after the publication of this notice. Site Visit Information: The IFB will contain site-visit information, to include date, time, and location. If attendance to the site-visit is anticipated, please respond to the designated POC listed below no later than 28 January 2016 in order to obtain the necessary forms for access to Fort Drum. Upon release to the public, the IFB as well as the amendments will be available at the FedBizzOpps website https://www.fbo.gov/. The IFB will specify the actual date and time for bid receipt. As prescribed in FAR 52.204-7 and DFARS 252.204-7004 Alt A, interested parties must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM) under the NAICS 237310, representations and certifications must also be on record. These registrations can be done through the System for Award Management (SAM) for free at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. SAM registration must be complete prior to bidding.
