- THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. The National Park Service, South Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Solicitation to replace an asphalt shingle roof within Fort Matanzas National Monument, St Augustine, Florida on or about January 27, 2016. SOLICITATION NUMBER: P16PS00359. Work will consist of (but not limited to) providing all labor, supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and incidentals necessary to remove, replace or install asphalt shingle 3 tab roof, ridge caps, drip edges, fascia, rain gutter system, skylights, etc. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided with the solicitation documents. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 238160. The small business standard is $15 M. The cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. SITE VISIT: Only (1) one site visit is scheduled for this action on Thursday, Feb 11, 2016 at 10:30am (ET) in St Augustine, Florida 32080. Details will be provided with the solicitation. Any questions must be received via email by 10:00am (ET) on Wednesday, Feb 17, 2016 to Mary_Stefanos@nps.gov. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed-price contract is expected to be awarded IAW FAR 16.202 towards the end of February 2016. Note: Davis Bacon prevailing wages for St Johns County, FL will apply. The Government will award (1) one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be posted on FBO.gov (Federal Business Opportunities) on or about Wednesday, Jan 27, 2016. This date is subject to change. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all available documents will be posted for download. Offers will be due approximately 30 days after issuance of solicitation unless extended by amendment. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for submission of offers. The Government is not obligated to issue a solicitation as a result of this notice. No other information is available until issuance of the solicitation. No phone calls please.
