Wage Determination Detailed Pricing Schedule Dumpster Locations at Engineer Yard Dumpster Locations at Snows Cut Statement of Work - Dumpster Service This notice is being posted as an avenue to provide Request for Quotes, W912PM-16-T-0006. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.202(a)(13), exceptions to publicizing contract actions, there will not be a pre-solicitation notice posted for this required action. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is an unrestricted solicitation. The solicitation number is W912PM-16-T-0006, and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The NAICS code is 562111 with a small business size standard of $38,500,000.00. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-83. Description of Requirement: The Wilmington District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requests the procurement of Dumpster Services for the Engineer Repair Yard at Wilmington, NC and the Snows Cut property at Carolina Beach, NC. The Contractor shall perform in accordance with all of the terms, conditions, specifications, and standards contained herein, and all current local, county, state of North Carolina, and federal regulations and laws. The contractor shall also be responsible for dumping fees. The Government also requests On-Call service for additional pickups on an "as needed" basis for shipping periods, when vessels are moored for repairs. Please see Statement of Work for full specifications. This will be firm-fixed-price contract action for a base of twelve (12) months plus four (4), twelve (12) month option periods. For evaluation purposes, each line item unit price quote received will be multiplied by unit quantity to result in a total amount per line. Then the extended line item total amounts will be added together for each of the Contract Line Items (CLINs) (including the option year CLINs). The lowest combined total price for all five (5) years that is technically acceptable will be the determining factor for evaluation of price. Contractor must be licensed for the county being serviced. A copy of the license or a statement confirming the license must be provided at the time of quote. (End of Instruction) 52.217-8 OPTION TO EXTEND SERVICES (Nov 1999) The Government may require continued performance of any services within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within 30 days. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension. (b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause. (c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed five years and six months.
