The anticipated place of performance of repair/overhaul is BAE Systems 1098 Clark Street Endicott NY. BAE is the only known source to possess full repair capability. Complete data, drawings and the rights to making items solesource to BAE. Even though the items are designated sole source, allresponsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal or quotation,which shall be considered by the agency. The subject items require Government source approval prior o contract award,as the items are flight critical and/or the technical data available has notbeen determined adequate to support repair via full and open competition.Only the source previously approved by the Government for repair of theseitems will be solicited.he time required for approval of a new source isnormallysuch that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with yourproposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS ource ApprovalInformation Brochure for Repair. This brochuredentifies technical datarequired to be submitted based on your company's xperience in repair of thesame or similar items. If yourrequest for source approval is currently being evaluated at AVSUP WSS, submitwith your offer a copy of the cover letterhat forwarded your request for source approval. Offersreceived which fail to provide all data required bythe Source ApprovalBrochure or document previous submission of all datarequiredby the Source Approval Brochure will not be considered this solicitation. Please note, if evaluation of a source approval request submitted hereunder cannot be processed in time and/or approval requirementspreclude the abilityto obtain subject items in time to meet Governmentrequirements, award of the subject requirement may continue based on Fleet support needs.
