- This is a special notice prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.2 "Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions". US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District intends to award a Firm-Fixed Priced contract. The purpose of this acquisition is to purchase office furniture for the Bradford Island Service Building at the Bonneville Lock and Dam, Oregon. The statutory authority for this competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304 as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(c) for soliciting orally for purchases not exceeding $25,000.00. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED. The Government intends to proceed with this action. The NAICS code is 337211 - Wood Office Furniture Manufacturing. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 500 employees. Reference the attachment for a list of items to be purchased. THIS NOTICE IS A PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT. Interested SMALL BUSINESS concerns may submit a proposal or quote to the contracting officer before the notice end date. If no affirmative written responses are received by 12:00 PM Pacific Time on January 20, 2016, your offer will not be considered. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is not responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
