- Description
- In accordance with FAR 5.2, this notice serves as the presolicitation synopsis for FA8201-16-R-0007. Hill Air Force Base has a need for a Simplified Acquisition Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract. OBJECTIVE: Establish a multiple award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract covering multiple disciplines in general construction to be managed by the 75th Civil Engineering Group (CEG) at Hill Air Force Base (HAFB), Utah. Project locations may also include remote sites such as Boulder Seismic Station Pinedale, WY; Little Mountain, UT; Utah Test and Training Range (UTTR) and other geographically separated areas under the jurisdiction of HAFB. Task orders (TO) will be issued under this contract to define specific project requirements. SCOPE OF WORK: Contractor shall furnish all equipment, tools, supervision, labor, material, quality control, and other items necessary to safely manage and accomplish a broad range of repair, modification, and construction tasks on various real property facilities. Tasks include fabrication, installation, modification, and testing on various facilities and interfacing equipment. Tasks involve a variety of disciplines such as demolition, reclamation, utilities, excavation, structures, electrical, mechanical, and other specialty and general construction work. SABER solicitation will be posted to FBO as an 8(a) Small Business Set-Aside with competition limited to 8(a) firms located within Utah or other 8(a) construction firms outside of Utah that have an approved bona fide place of business in Utah at the time of bid submittals. Work performed will be within the NAICS Code 236220. Foreign participation is not permitted.
