- U.S. GOVERNMENT General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space: State: Alabama City: Huntsville Delineated Area: North: U.S. Route 72/State Route 2 (University Drive NW) to Pratt Avenue NE. East: SE California Street. South: Interstate 565 to State Route 53 (Governors Drive) to U.S. Route 431 (Governors Drive). West: Slaughter Road. Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 3,794 Maximum Sq. Ft. (RSF): 4,363 Space Type: Office Parking Spaces (Total): 7 Parking Spaces (Surface): 7 Parking Spaces (Structured): N/A Parking Spaces (Reserved): N/A Full Term: 15 Years Firm Term: 5 Years Option Term: None Additional Requirements: None Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 100/500 year flood plain. The U.S. Government seeking office and related space in a building under a lease in Huntsville, AL to commence on or about October 1, 2016. The Government is considering alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government, will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
