- Note: W91247-15-R-0033, Source Sought number has been changed to W9124M-16-B-0001. Pre-solicitation Notice: Under the North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code: 238160 for Roofing Contractors. Description of work: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Center- Fort Bragg (MICC-FB) anticipated issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a single award Indefinite-Quantity in support of minor construction services in the area of roofing maintenance and repairs. The contractor shall provide roofing repair services in the following areas: • Provide and install gypsum decking. • Provide and install steel decking. • Provide and install rough carpentry. • Provide and install finish carpentry. • Provide and install roof insulation. • Provide and install Strip Shingles. • Provide and install Built-Up Roofing. • Provide and install Elastomeric Roofing (EPDM.) • Provide and install Modified Bitumen Roofing. • Provide and install Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Roofing and Thermoplastic Membrane Roofing (TPO). • Provide and install Metal Framing Reroofing System • Provide and install Standing Seam Metal Roof Provide and install sheet metal • Provide and install caulking and sealant. • Provide and install lath and plaster. • Provide and install gypsum wall board. • Provide and install acoustical ceiling panels. • Provide and install paint. • Provide removal of asbestos roofing. • Provide and install PVC piping. • Provide and install lightning protection system. • Demolition of the above materials that are to be installed Location of work: US Army Fort Stewart and Hunter Amy Air Field (HAAF) Georgia. Tentative dates: Anticipated IFB issue date is on or before 10 February 2016 and will remain open for 30 calendar days. The anticipated award date is on or around the early part of May 2016. Small business set aside: This requirement will be solicited as a 100% HUB Zone Set-Aside, for firms located within the geographic area serviced by the Georgia District Office Region IV. The IFB will be posted on Federal Business Opportunities website: http://www.fbo.gov. Paper copies of the IFB will not be provided. The IFB will specify the date and time for the bid opening. Interested potential offerors are responsible for routinely checking this web site for any possible updates on the anticipated IFB. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management Maintenance database prior to award of a government contract, http://www.sam.gov/.
