- This attachment includes a list of the FSC 8040 items to be procured on the proposed solicitation. Defense Logistics Agency Philadelphia intends to issue an unrestricted Request fro Quote (RFQ) for the acquisition of several NSN 8040, Adhesive, items under solicitation SPM8EG-16-Q-0002. The items to be procured have been included in an attachment to the synopsis. The RFQ will be posted to the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) (https://dibbs.dla.bsm.dla.mil) DLA anticipates issuing a solicitation NLT February 8, 2016. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The procurement will be a Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, with an Economic Price Adjustment (EPA). The procurement will be for a one year base period, with four, one year options periods. The total contract term will not exceed five years. The Government intents to issue a Customer Direct contract(s). Delivery will be FOB Destination for Customer Direct Orders. The Government may award contracts on a line by line basis; therefore, vendors will not be required to provide quotes for all items solicited. Any resultant contracts would be treated individually. It should be noted that this posting, in no way, should be interpreted as a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote or an Invitation for Bid. The Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this notice.
