Description

USSOCOM has evaluated General Service Administration's (GSA) GWAC Alliant Large Business for SITEC II O&M requirements and found that this vehicle is suitable for the SITEC II O&M Task Order requirement. In addition to the SITEC II O&M Task Order, a SITEC II O&M Surge Requirements Contract will be awarded to the successful offeror of the fair opportunity competition on a limited-source basis, namely, the GSA GWAC Alliant Large Business contract holders. (See 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2).) The Surge Requirements Contract will consist of unknown surge requirements for services that are deemed to be available only from the awardee of the SITEC II O&M Task Order for the continued provision of highly specialized services to meet the unknown surge requirements because it is likely that award of a contract to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. (See 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) (iii).). The anticipated award of the SITEC II O&M Task Order and the SITEC II O&M Surge Requirements Contract is no later than 1 April 2017.
