- DGS-RFS-MPD-2016 - S-103 DGS-RFS-MPD-2016-02 - Solicitation The District of Columbia’s Department of General Services (“DGS”) (formerly Office of Property Management (“OPM”) is seeking 14,000 – 18,000 RSF of office swing space on behalf of the DC Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Command Division while the Daly Building is under renovation. Swing space is needed for 5 to 10 years. Fourteen (14) at a minimum are needed for MPD’s fleet vehicles. Preference will be given to options that can provide additional parking for up to additional 47 parking spaces. DGS shall offer and award this RFS through an Emergency Procurement action based on an imminent threat to the public, health, welfare, property or safety and to prevent or minimize serious disruption in agency operations and therefore an essential function of the District of Columbia. Preference will be given to those options that: 1) are within a half mile of the Daly Building located at 300 Indiana Avenue, NW. All office submarkets within the District of Columbia will be considered; 2) are within close proximity of a Metro train station. Preference will be given to options that can provide additional parking for up to additional 47 parking spaces (fourteen (14) at a minimum are needed for MPD’s fleet vehicles); 3) can provide a turnkey delivery at the earliest possible date. Offers are due by 3 pm EDT, February 2, 2016. Please provide one (1) hard copy and two (2) electronic copies (via a USB drive) in Microsoft Word and PDF of the written offers in 12-point font size on 8.5”x 11” paper. Offers must also include signed DC DGS FORM S-103 attached to this RFS.
