Description
Two In Line Nut Runners with torque reaction systems. Each nut runner shall come with a LED Graph Controller, Tool and control cable, and be programmable so that it can be programmed to several different torque sequences. The systems shall be delivered and installed at Red River Army Depot. The nut runners and torque reaction systems shall meet all requirements, capacities and testing as specified herein to be acceptable. The primary purpose of the In Line Nut Runners will be to torque the head bolts and main bolts on the Caterpillar C-15 and Detroit 60 Series Engines. The winning bidder will be responsible for insuring that each nut runner is capable of torqueing the head bolts and main bolts on the C-15 and 60 series engines with the proper alignment of the nut runners so that it will fully torque the heads and main bolts of these engine configurations without any interference. The In-Line nut runners and torque reaction systems offered shall be new and a current production model. A current production model is defined as the manufacturer's current production model which, on the date this solicitation is issued, has been designed, engineered and sold or is being offered for sale through advertisements or manufacturer's published catalogue or brochures.Products such as a prototype unit, pre-production model, or experimental unit do not qualify as meeting the requirements specified herein. In Line Nut Runner Specifications Torque Range: Each nut runner should be able torque as low as 150 Nm and all the way up to 750Nm. The RPM's on the nut runner should range from 143-150 RPM's. Each nut runner shall come equipped with one set of sockets for the head and main bolts for both the C-15 and 60 Series engines Digital Controls/Graph Controller: Each nut runner shall be controlled by a Graph Controller with an LED display. The controller must be programmable so that it can hold preset torque settings for multiple engine variances. The system should be able to recognize what torque sequence to run by the size socket that is on the nut runner at the time. The controller should also be able to capture or perform the following functions: Number of Psets,Batch Count, Open end Scanner, Quick Programming, Cross Thread/ Rehit Detection, Tool Service indicators, Outset, Lock on Reject, Line Control, Transducer Torque Traceability, Tightening Status Storage, Tightening Data Storage(SOOO), Multistage(S),Trace Storage(8),Real Time Statistics, SPC, RBU (Silver),Bar Code Reading, D input To Select Job, Logic Configurator, Cell Programming, Two Stage/Quick Step/Ergo Ramp, Torque Control and Angle Monitoring, DS Control, Auot Zoom Step, CW/CCW Operation, Rundown Angle Monitoring, Self-Tap/ PVT Monitoring, Reverse Angle, Rotaot Spindle, Click Wrench Input, Torque and Angle Control, Angle Control and Torque Monitoring, Current Monitoring, Post View Torque,,USB Port, Discrete 1/0, Remote Start, Expandable/O, Operator ID Input, Ethernet Port for Remote Programming and Data Collection. The controller should be able to operate off of either rllOVac or 240 Vac. Each controller should also come with a Red/Green/Yellow tool indicator light system. Torque Reaction System Specifications: Torque Reaction System: Each nut runner shall be mounted to a torque reaction system. The torque reaction system will be designed so that it is a wall mounted type system. The vertical travel of the reaction system shall be between 60"-65" of vertical travel. The Span I Reach of the reaction system shall be "Exactly'' ten (10) foot. The reaction system must be able to handle between 1,000 Nm -1, l OO Nm of torque reaction. Each reaction system shall have parking brakes, single balance lift control, Max single spindle weight of fifty (SO) pounds, fixed vertical spindle with end rotation, and a discrete brake for torque reaction. Each reaction system shall have a GCI DC remote Start Switch/Handle that controls the movement of the torque reaction system. The winning bidder shall be responsible for providing Red River Army Depot Production Engineering Division with a PE (Professional Engineer) stamped drawing insuring the design and installation of the Torque Reaction System at Red River Army Depot. Installation. Turn-Key Installation. The contractor shall provide a full Turn-key installation of the system. The installation shall include all equipment, labor and materials to install the system and make it fully operational and functional.
