- The Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forest has a need for contractors to perform brushing work on Forest Service trails. Contract issued by the Government will detail the location of the work, the type and quantity of work, and the time for performance. The Contractor(s) shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment and materials to perform all operations necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the Solicitation Provisions, Contract Clauses, Statement of Work, and task orders issued as a result of this solicitation. Requirements: http://www.fs.fed.us/recreation/programs/trail-management/trailplans/index.shtml. 1.) Brush Cutting 981 2.) Logging Out 982 3.) Drainage Maintenance 991 Please note that this poriton of Idaho receives over 69 inches of rain annually. Drainanage maintenance is a large requirement with trails, please bid accordingly. A total of six (6) Items - Trail Systems - will be advertised under this opportunity: 1 - Trail #96: Elmer Creek 2 - Trail #26: Three Tree Butte 3 - Trail #27: Excavation Gulch 4 - Trail #224: East Fork Meadow Creek 5 - Trail #765: Potlach Canyon 6 - Trail #319: Strychnine Ridge Please contact the Clearwater National Forest front desk for instructions to obtain trail maps prior to full advertisement: 208-476-4541.
