PWS for AFAEMS/AFVEC AI Portal Helpdesk Support for JBSA Randolph THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE - THIS IS A NOTICE OF THE GOVERNMENT'S INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO BAM TECHNOLOGIES LLC TO PROVIDE AFVEC SUITE SUPPORT. The Air Force Installation Contracting Agency (AFICA) - 338 SCONS, JBSA Randolph, Texas 78150-4302, announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis to BAM Technologies LLC, 2001 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Suite 610, Arlington, VA 22202-3610, under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1): Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. T he anticipated period of performance will be for six (6) months. The anticipated award to BAM Technologies LLC is to provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform Air Force Automated Education Management System (AFAEMS) / Air Force Virtual Education Center (AFVEC) / Air Institute (AI) Portal operations, maintenance and helpdesk support for the Air Force Civilian Acquisition Workforce employees and students. Air Force wide, the AFVEC Suite software which resides on the Air Force Portal is being used to manage the tuition assistance program. The Contractor will provide personnel proficient in AFAEMS/AFVEC/AI Portal support for the AFVEC Suite as follows: helpdesk support to include identifying, escalating, resolving and tracking problems; adding, changing, or deleting user accounts, maintaining passwords and access rights, creating, allocating, monitoring, and restoring data files and space; formatting and updating content information screens and tabs, maintaining software licenses, system file directories, and system documentation and accreditations; acts as the intermediary between the end-user for troubleshooting, maintaining, and managing the uploaded content and upgraded strategies, as well as, provide system administration, training for IT, technical support, security, administrative control, and application services for all operational systems. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Responses submitted in response to this notice shall include the following: a. Description of how the interested party plans to provide qualified personnel, already trained and proficient in the AFVEC Suite maintenance and sustainment services to be contracted b. Business size of interested party To be considered by the Government, interested parties must deliver their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government's requirement to the Contracting Officer not later than 2:00 PM (Central Standard Time) on Jan 29, 2016. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
