- Description
- Revised RFQ The purpose of this amendment is to provide response to vendor questions and attached a revised SOW. 1. Under 2.1 Requirements: It states that "The new system will be required to communicate and interface directly with the Port of Buffalo's existing access control software and system." If this is requirement is confirmed, what type of network connection is, or will be in place, to accommodate this connection? A DSL connection may be required for future linking of remote offices. A site visit is allowed to confirm. For the purposes of this quote, please include the provisions that software and hardware will have the future ability to access and communicate with the existing system located at a remote site within the Port of Buffalo, New York. 2. Also under 2.1 Requirements: It states that "Remote mobile and smartphone control of access system is required for CBP mobile authorized users." It is our understanding that the Andover Continuum PACS System does not have mobile APP capability. Web.Client is available and will allow remote PC's the ability to connect into the system. However, to accomplish this, the system must be made accessible to the outside world. How important is this requirement for this application and if important, who will be responsible for the required switch port and network programming required to make this happen? Please remove this requirement entirely from bid. "Please advise of there will be a waiver on FIPS or if you will be looking for a FIPS 201-2 replacement system for this site." •· There will not be a waiver for this requirement. •· System must be DHS-PIV compliant to the most updated version available. •· If that is FIPS 201-2, then that is the requirement.
