Description
Please fill out the attached sheet and email it back. Performance Work Statement (PWS) Vehicles with Drivers GENERAL: The U.S. Government requires a services contract for non-tactical vehicles with drivers from 07-12 February 2016. The SUVs are required daily throughout the period of performance. All coordination timelines will be scheduled with the contractor through the Government Representative. Description of Services: The Contractor shall provide the Government with 2 full-size 5-passenger Sport Utility Vehicles four wheel drive (SUVs) with drivers; 2 full-size 7-passenger minivans with drivers; and 2 each 30-passenger semi-luxury buses with drivers. The Contractor shall furnish all supervisory personnel, drivers, equipment, materials and supplies, including fuel, required to accomplish the requirements of this PWS. Drivers: Drivers under this contract shall present a neat appearance and maintain a professional decorum at all times. Clothing shall be kept clean and neat (i.e. no debris, dirt, mud, stains, rips, tears or holes) as practicable considering work conditions. The Contractor shall provide drivers with a standard daily uniform to include company logo. At a minimum, drivers will wear full length slacks, a short sleeve shirt or polo shirt without tie, and covered toe shoes. The contractor shall ensure all drivers are fully licensed and insured in accordance with local laws before operating their assigned vehicle and must have a safe driving record. Inspection: The Government Representative will conduct a joint vehicle inspection with the Contractor to ensure physical and mechanical condition of the vehicle and equipment satisfies the US Government's needs, safety needs, and applicable local Government transportation laws during the initial delivery and once a month thereafter. SUVs: The contractor shall provide 2 full-size, 5-passenger Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) from 7-12 February 2016. The SUVs shall be similar or equal to a Toyota Prado with four wheel drive capability. All SUVs are required to come with drivers for the duration of the period of performance. The contractor shall ensure all vehicles are equipped with power steering, power brakes, air conditioning system, and with standard safety equipment required by local transportation laws. Request the SUVs be four wheel drive capable. Requirements include, but are not limited to, seat belts; serviceable spare tire, jack and tire tools, warning devices (such as a warning triangle), and no front windshield cracks or breaks. Vehicles must be in compliance with all local vehicle and / or transportation regulations. The Contractor shall provide SUVs that are no older than 7 years unless approved by the COR, and do not have more than 150,000 km at the time of the period of perfomance. Each SUV will not exceed a cumulative average of 200km per day. The SUV's will primarily be used in the city of Dar Es Salaam. Drivers shall have specific knowledge of the local road networks throughout Dar Es Salaam. The Contractor shall repair or replace any damaged or malfunctioning vehicle within a one hour time of notification from the COR. The contractor shall have all 2 SUVs at Julius Nyerere International Airport at a time to be determined by the POC on 7 February 2016. The contractor shall ensure all vehicles are available from 7-12 February 2016. Minivans: The contractor shall provide 2 full-size, 7-passenger minivans from 7-12 February 2016. The minivans shall be similar or equal to a Toyota Noah. All minivans shall come with drivers. BUSES: The contractor shall provide 2 semi-luxury buses capable of holding a minimum of 30 people each from 7-12 February 2016. The buses shall be similar or equal to a Pullman Superluxe. All buses shall come with drivers. Each bus will not exceed 1,500 KM during the period of performance of this contract. The buses will be used to transport personnel from the Kunduchi beach resort hotel to various sites as detailed below, and back to the Kunduchi beach resort hotel. Drivers shall have specific knowledge of Tanzanian road networks. Once given a code you can register in SAM. Time is of the essence as the FVIS typically takes five business days from the time that I receive your information
