Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate sole source commercial item procurement with BRUKER Daltonics, Inc. for full service maintenance agreement of MALDI Biotyper used in Microbiology Lab. The equipment/system being serviced is at the VAMC Durham, in Durham, NC. Performance period for this equipment is 2/1/2016-1/30/2017. This proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and submit quotations no later than 12N, January 28, 2016 to: benetta.northern@va.gov or Fax: 757-726-6010. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The NAICS CODE IS 811219 with a size standard of $20,500,000.00..
