Price breaks for up to 100 units will be included. Item is solicited under Other Than Full and Open Competition 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1). Approved sources are: MICROSEMI CORP. - MASSACHUSETTS (43611) P/N: TS-3394-002 NOTE: The cited drawing is a "source controlled" drawing and as of the date of this notice only the source(s) cited on the drawing have been approved. Even though sources and approved part numbers are provided, the items furnished must meet the requirements of the cited drawing. Any potential offerors who are interested in qualifying their products for purpose of future acquisitions must contact the cognizant design activity specified on the source controlled drawing. CLAUSE 52.209-9028, Qualified Suppliers List of Distributors (QSLD) - FSC 5961 AND 5962 (AUG 2009); Any resultant contract will be awarded based on QSLD guidelines if applicable. DLAD 52.209-9002 (APR 2013), Qualified Testing Suppliers List (QTSL)-FSCS 5961 and 5962. Any resultant contract will be based on QTSL guidelines if applicable. This solicitation is being issued under the First Destination Transportation (FDT) program. If this acquisition is for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) or has an APO/FPO ship-to address, FDT will not apply and normal procedures should be followed. Origin, Government Arranged Transportation and 52.247-9058, First Destination Transportation (FDT) Program - Shipments Originating Outside the contiguous United States (OCONUS). DLAD provision 52.215-9023 will not be included in the solicitation. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP on its issue date of February 12, 2016. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available, and must be downloaded from the internet site above. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of Price, Delivery, and Past Performance as described in the solicitation.
