Description

The VA North Texas Health Care System intends to solicit and award a Sole Source Contract to Sun Nuclear Corporation for the purchase of Extended Maintenance Agreement for the North Texas Veterans Health Care System, Dallas VA Medical Center, Dallas, TX 75216. The Contractor will provide Extended Maintenance Service, for the following Sun Nuclear Corporation products: 3D Scanner Annual Maintenance Agreement, ArcCheck Standard Maintenance Agreement, 3DVH Software Maintenance Agreement, MapCHECK 2 Standard Maintenance, Agreement, ROFILER2 Standard Maintenance Agreement, rf-Daily QA 3 Standard Maintenance Agreement, 1D SCANNER Standard Maintenance Agreement, 1D SCANNER Scanning Software Module Software Maintenance Agreement, PC Electrometer Standard Maintenance Agreement, rf-IVD 2 Standard Maintenance Agreement. The resulting purchase will be a Firm-Fixed Price Agreement. The designated North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334519- Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. No Solicitation will be published. Responses to this notice, if any, must show clear and convincing evidence that competition is attainable and more advantageous to the Government. This 'Notice of Intent' to sole-source as the result of Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements per FAR 6.302-1 is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion and authority of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to solicit this requirement as a 'full & open' competitive procurement. No reimbursement for any costs associated with providing capability statements will be provided by the VHA. Please submit information to Jim Houston at Jim.houston@va.gov All responses must be received no later than Friday 29 January 2016 at 0700 am central standard time.
