MARCORLOGCOM Albany, GA Contracts Department (S1930) intends to solicit and contract a Firm Fixed Price contract on a sole source basis to: Harris Corp. 1680 University Ave, Rochester, NY 14610-1839 for the remanufacture of the following: CLIN 0001: Vehicular Adaptor Unit Assembly, NSN: 5820-01-559-6055, P/N: 12053-0100-02, Quantity of 252 each. CLIN 0002: Vehicular Adaptor Unit Assembly, NSN: 5820-01-570-9746, P/N: 12053-0100-09, Quantity of 755 each. North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 334220 and the Small Business size standard is 750 employees. FOB DESTINATION pricing is preferred. Ship to information: MMSA01 MCLC BLDG 1221 DR 20, M/F FSD Storage Maint BN WHSE 1231 DR11, 814 Radford Blvd, Albany, GA 31704-5000. This is a synopsis for commercial remanufacture prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. A Request for Proposal will be issued in approximately 30 days with a 30-day closing. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The solicitation number is assigned for administrative purposes only. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for Quote, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. This synopsis should not be construed as commitment by the Government for any purpose. The Government will consider all responses from capable interested offerors received within 30 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information that is submitted by respondents to this notice of proposed contract action. Such offers must be supported by information to enable the Government to evaluate an offers capability to repair these items without the Government providing technical data.
