- Performance Work Statement The United States Army Contracting Command - New Jersey, on behalf of Project Manager, Warfighter Information Network-Tactical (PM WIN-T) is conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 10 to identify potential businesses that can provide Riverbed Wide Area Network (WAN) Optimization Product Software Licenses, Technical Support and Maintenance. This software will be capable of running on a server with VMware ESXi 5.x software. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 511210 - Software Publishers with a small business size standard of $38.5M. Specific items include the following: WAN Optimization Software License, Riverbed P/N VCX-WINT-1555-H, 2-Year Quantity 5,500 Software Updates, Riverbed P/N MNT-VCX-WINT-SW-1555, 2-Year Quantity 14,000 Technical Assistance Center Support, Riverbed P/N MNT-VCX-WINT-TAC-1555, 2-Year Quantity 14,000 PM WIN-T communications equipment has a need for WAN optimization that extends to deployments in environments where physical hardware is not convenient or suitable. These communications terminals utilize ruggedized, custom hardware and operate in space-limited scenarios requiring a form factor that is free from the physical limitations of hardware appliances while allowing maximized server capacity. PM WIN-T has purchased Riverbed Steelhead software licenses, and need to purchase additional Riverbed Steelhead licenses to continue fielding this capability across the WIN-T network. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price 2-Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract vehicle. A brand name justification will be included with the solicitation if/when posted. The products identified in this requirement may need to meet specific Federal Information Processing Standards. Riverbed authorized resellers who are interested/capable of providing the requested items shall provide the following information in response to this Sources Sought to Thomas Sullivan via email at thomas.d.sullivan45.civ@mail.mil no later than 4 February 2016, 1:00 p.m. EST: 1. Riverbed Authorized Reseller Agreement IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE IN A SEPARATE ANNOUNCEMENT, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the site frequently for any updates and amendments to any and all documents. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement.
