- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document, with incorporated provisions and clauses, are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) #FAC 2005-85, effective January 4, 2016. This procurement is a total small business set-aside IAW FAR 19.203(b) and FAR 19.501(c). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238910 - Site Preparation Contractors applies, and the small business size standard is $15M. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price purchase order with one contract line item. U.S. Department of Labor Wage Rates, Wage Determination No. 2005-2285; Revision No. 16, Dated: 12/29/2015 applies. Site Visit: One pre-offer site visit will be conducted at Marshland District Visitor Center - 15975 Hwy 70 Pine City, MN 55063 on 04 Feb 2016 at 9:00 AM Central Time for the purpose of examining the site and verifying conditions. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend this scheduled site visit. Meet at the Visitor Center. RSVP to james_bissaillon@nps.gov. Offerors are requested to submit questions to james_bissaillon@nps.gov no later than 15 Feb 2016, 2:00 PM Central Time. Information provided at this conference shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply. A record of the visit shall be made and any questions/answers will be furnished to all prospective offerors via www.fbo.gov. To be considered, offerors must possess and maintain a valid Dun & Bradstreet number and have an active registration in the System for Award Management (www.sam.gov) at the time of contract award. Lack of an active registration in SAM will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. Responses are due to National Park Service, Midwest Regional Office Major Acquisition Buying Office on or before 10:00 AM Central Time, 18 Feb 2016. Late offers may not be considered.
