Description

PRAWS RFP with 9 Attachments The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/ Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Systems Section (PL8223), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB, IL, intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) in order to award a competitive Firm Fixed Price contract to an 8(a) Contractor for the Operations and Maintenance of the PRAWS. The PRAWS is an integrated network that provides internet provider and digital switched voice, video teleconferencing and data services. The network is terrestrial and uses a combination of Government provided microwave, commercial Contractor provided leased circuits and fiber optic facilities. DISA has a requirement to ensure continuous services are provided to operate and maintain DISA owned microwave equipment, which transverses Puerto Rico, St. Croix, St. Thomas and the US Virgin Islands (USVI). Period of Performance: One-year base plus three, 1-year options. Anticipated start date of May 1, 2016. Place of Performance: On the island of Puerto Rico, Vieques, and between Puerto Rico and selected neighboring islands (St. Croix / St. Thomas) within line of sight microwave range.
