Description

The Federal Aviation Administration has a requirement for the Replacement of Portions of Corroded Boiler Stacks at the Atlanta Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC), 299 Woolsey Road; Hampton, GA 30228 Performance time for the entire project is 98 calendar days after receiving the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The Primary NAICS code is 238220 Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning with a Size Standard of $15 Million. This procurement will be solicited as a combined set a-side for the following small business concerns: Eligible socially and economically disadvantaged business (SEDB) concerns Service-disabled veteran-owned small business concerns (SDVOSB) Very small business concerns. (See clause - 3.6.1-16 Notice of Combined Set-Aside (July 2015)) To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (website: www.sam.gov). Magnitude of Construction Project: The estimated construction price if between $100,000.00 and $200,00.00 SITE VISIT: Prospective Bidders are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit. For Security coordination, prospective bidders must forward their company name and full names of all attendees to Mark Mahota at Mark.Mahota@faa.gov no later than Friday February 5, 2016. The site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday February 10, 2016 at 10:00 am. at the Atlanta Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) 299 Woolsey Road, Hampton GA 30228 All Requests for Information (RFI) must be emailed to the Contracting Officer, Maxine.Cross@faa.gov no later than February 17, 2015 3:00 PM Eastern Time (ET). All proposals must be received no later than February 29, 2016 3:00 PM EST. Proposals MUST be submitted ELECTRONICALLY TO Maxine Cross at maxine.cross@faa.gov. Any responses received after the closing date and time, will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals.
