- This notice is issued by the NASA/GSFC to post a draft Statement of Work via the internet, and to solicit input, comments, and recommendations from interested parties. The objective of this RFI is to seek capabilities from small, small disadvantaged, and women-owned small businesses for the purposes of determining the appropriate level of competition and/or small business subcontracting goals for this requirement, to allow industry the opportunity to verify reasonableness and feasibility of the requirement, and increase procurement efficiency by improving NASA/GSFCs knowledge of industrys capabilities. Potential offerors are requested to submit information in the form of a brief Capabilities and Qualifications Statement that includes: 1. Addressing all of the functional areas outlined in the draft Statement of Work, and 2. A Summary of relevant past experience. Capabilities Statements shall not exceed 15 pages. Interested firms are requested to submit their capability statements to Ms. Rhea Frazier, NASA/GSFC, Mail Code 444, Greenbelt MD 20771, e-mail: Rhea.P.Frazier@nasa.gov no later than the response date indicated above.Documents, comments and questions may be forwarded to Rhea Frazier via electronic transmission or by facsimile transmission (301) 286-1773. In addition, copies of all documents shall also be forwarded to Mr. Jeff Simpson, NASA/GSFC, Mail Code 606.1, Greenbelt, MD 20771, e-mail: Jeffrey.M.Simpson@nasa.gov. This presolicitation synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information submitted in response.Respondents will not be notified of the results.
