- Draft Performance Work Statement for the Vancouver Resident Office This announcement is a Sources Sought Notice (market survey). This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The purpose of this sources sought is to determine interested parties, socioeconomic status availability, and capabilities. The Government intends to use responses to this sources sought notice to make an appropriate acquisition decision for this project. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District's Vancouver Resident Office (VRO) is located in Vancouver, WA. The VRO uses a contractor for janitorial services in its Resident Office. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, transportation, supervision, and equipment necessary to provide janitorial services in accordance with the draft performance work statement (PWS), which are attached to this notice. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District is seeking sources for Janitorial services at the VRO under NAICS Code 561720, Janitorial Services and the small business size is $18 million per year. The Government anticipates awarding One (1) Firm-Fixed Price - Services contract for a Base Period and Four (4) One Year Option Periods. The tentative Period of Performance is anticipated to be: Base Year: 01 March 2016 through 28 February 2017 Option Year 1: 01 March 2017 through 28 February 2018 Option Year 2: 01 March 2018 through 28 February 2019 Option Year 3: 01 March 2019 through 28 February 2020 Option Year 4: 01 March 2020 through 28 February 2021 SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE 1. In the event that you are a small business, state the category of small business, such as 8(a), HUBZone, Veteran Owned Small Business, Woman Owned Small Business, or SDVOSB. 4. Statement of Capability (SOC) a. Statement of your skills, knowledge, and equipment required to perform the specified type. b. Recent and relevant experience within the last five (5) years providing janitorial services for offices similar in scope and size to the attached draft PWS. The Government intends to advertise a solicitation for this project on or around 08 February 2016. At this time, a solicitation does not exist; therefore, offers shall not be accepted. It is the potential Offeror's responsibility to monitor FedBizOps (www.FBO.gov) for release of any future solicitation that may result from this Sources Sought Notice.
