Description
THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) intends to procure Medical Second Opinion and Medical Examination Services for the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP)/Division of Federal Employees' Compensation (DFEC) for the Boston District Office locations. The objective of this requirement is to procure medical second opinion, examinations, impairment rating examinations and file reviews for affected claimants who reside within the area served by OWCP's Boston District Offices. The government contemplates the Request for Proposal (RFP) will result in a Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Service contract and will be issued as unrestricted. The RFP shall require the submission of a technical proposal as well as a price proposal. Technical will be considered significantly more important than price. It is anticipated that the subject solicitation will be issued to the FBO website on or about February 3, 2016. The solicitation will be issued electronically only, hard (paper) copies will not be provided, and there will be no bidder's list for this procurement. It is the contractor's responsibility to monitor the website for the issuance of the RFP as well as any amendments. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management database (www.sam.gov) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) database (https://orca.bpn.gov/).
