Statement of Work Notice of Intent to Sole Source THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Naval Medical Center San Diego intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) and FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) (i), only one responsible source, to: American College of Cardiology Foundation 2400 N St NW Washington, DC, 20037-1153 The objective of this sole source award is to procure on-line subscription for the Cardiosource Plus Accis Bundle. The Contractor shall provide the following: • 001-Base year for on-line subscription for the CARDIOSOURCE PLUS ACCIS BUNDLE. Period of Performance (POP) (FY16) 02-February 2016 to 01 February 2017. • 002-Option year 1; POP 02 February 2017 to 01 February 2018 • 003-Option year 2; POP 02 February 2018 to 01 February 2019 • 004-Option year 3; POP 02 February 2019 to 01 February 2020 • 005-Option year 4; POP 02 February 2020 to 01 February 2021 American College of Cardiology is the only source that provides on-line testing programs that Cardiology Fellow utilize to help prepare for their yearly in-service exams and board certification after the completion of their 3 year fellowship in the Cardiology Department. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. All information received by 08:00 AM Pacific Time on February 01, 2016 may be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Uyen Tran at uyen.t.tran6.civ@mail.mil. The email subject line shall state, "Naval Medical Center San Diego, "Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source on-line subscription for Cardiosource plus ACCIS Bundle". A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED.
