Description
Solicitation Number: 2016-31001A Notice Type: Modification/Amendment Synopsis: Reference is made to the December 22, 2015, announcement, reference number 2016-31001A, inviting submission of qualifications and proposal data for the CEPALCO Scaled Implementation of AMI Pilot Project. USTDA has received inquiries as to whether only U.S. citizens may be proposed for the project. In response, USTDA would respectfully refer Offerors to USTDA's Nationality Requirements listed in Annex 3 of the RFP. USTDA has received inquiries regarding the number of users included in the pilot project. In response, the Grantee's AMI pilot project will cover approximately 2,000 of its customers or users. USTDA has received inquiries as to the type of customers where the pilot will be applied. In response, out of the 2,000 customers, 14 will be bulk power customers (those that are metered at 69 kV or 138 kV through voltage and current sensors), 297 industrial customers, 689 commercial customers, and 1,000 residential customers. USTDA has received inquiries regarding the areas in which the pilot will be applied. In response, the customer mix mentioned above is dispersed throughout the franchise area of the Grantee. For residential customers, the intention is to test what communications system ("last mile" solution) is best suited for the Grantee in its entire franchise area, i.e., representative residential customers within the rural, sub-urban, and urban areas. USTDA is making this information available for the benefit of all prospective bidders. The response date for this RFP remains 4:00 PM local (Philippines) time on February 15, 2016.
