SCHEDULED SITE VISIT FOR FEBRUARY 8, 2016 IS POSTPONED. Points of Contact: Project Manager: Brett Sichmeller at 402 996-3703 Specification Section: Douglas R. W9128F-16-R-0014 On or about 26 January 2016, this office will issue Request for Proposals for construction of the IN-GROUND CREMAINS AND PRE-PLACED CRYPTS, PN 888CM3038, FORT LOGAN NATIONAL CEMETERY, DENVER, COLORADO. The solicitation will close on or about 25 February 2016. This solicitation is RESTRICTED TO SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS PARTICIPATION. A pre-solicitation visit is scheduled 21 January 2016 9:00 a.m. at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Each Contractor will only be allowed no more than 3 people each to attend the pre-solicitation visit. Submit requests to attend the pre-solicitation visit by 19 January 2016 to Diane Gilliam at: e-mail: Diane.C.Gilliam@usace.army.mil or Phone: 720-847-2635. Provide name, company name and phone number of each person attending this visit. Place of meeting details and parking will be provided upon registering with Diane Gilliam. The purpose of this visit is to provide an opportunity for networking and preparation for the solicitation and to see the project site. SITE VISIT POSTPONED: The scheduled site visit for 8 FEBRUARY 2016 is POSTPONED. The site visit date and details will be included in the solicitation once it is posted. See ‘Obtaining Solicitation Documents' below. Project Description: This is a Fully-Designed Project. The work consists of construction and development of approximately ten acres of land in order to provide approximately 14,660 total additional burial sites. The cemetery expansion shall include the procurement, delivery, and installation of approximately 5,272 full-size preplaced crypts and 200 preplaced urn crypts; 9,188 spaces are anticipated to accommodate burial of in-ground cremains, which do not include crypts. Supporting infrastructure associated with this expansion shall include a service road, utilities, signage, and irrigation system involving large diameter gasket pipe, centralized control systems with hardwired communication, electrically operated remote control valves, large radius rotary sprinklers and integrating with existing booster pump station. This project will be conducted utilizing Tradeoff Process per FAR 15.101-1 with the following planned evaluation factors: Relevant Construction Contractor Experience, Offeror's Subcontractor's Qualifications and Construction Experience, Technical Approach-Offeror's Key Personnel and Past Performance, Construction. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $7,500,000 and $10,000,000. The representations and certifications section in SAM are required to be updated annually as a minimum to keep information current, accurate and complete.
