Description

J & A Special Notice on Solicitation; W91YU0-16-T-0102, for Sole Source of Maintenance, Repair & Support Services, on the Sterrad ®100 NX TM DR Sterilizer System. Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) Health Contracting Cell, Tacoma, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Ethicon, Inc; in the amount of $58,973.08 for a Base year period plus two one-year option periods at Weed Army Community Hospital (WACH) Fort Irwin, CA. Sterrad 100NX is trademarked under Ethicon, Inc; who has proprietary rights as the OEM for all software, service, and maintenance for this Government Owned Equipment. This notice is not a request for quote and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated services can provide supporting documents demonstrating their capability. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Mr. Walter J. Bischoff, walter.j.bischoff.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
