- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format found in FAR Part 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quote SPE4A516Q0785 is being issued on 02/03/16 with a closing date of 02/09/16. This item is currently sole sourced to GE (CAGE 07482), PR: 58259284, NSN 5365-01-630-9272, BUSHING,SLEEVE, UNRESTRICTED, Part Number 2026M70P01. This solicitation is for a total quantity of 2,000 each. All pieces are to be delivered in 438 days DARO or best possible delivery. The solicitation terms include FOB: Origin and Inspection/Acceptance: Origin. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI). The following apply: Government First Article Testing (FAT), Critical Application Item (CAI), Configuration Control, Export Control DELIVERY: FAT: 180 DARO Govt Eval of FAT: 120 Days Production: 138 DAFAA Total Delivery: 438 DARO Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS) will apply. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This requirement will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract under FAR Part 13.5 for Commercial Acquisitions. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding any addenda to the provision. The provision at 52.212-2 regarding Evaluation of Commercial Items is applicable. All offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, with their offer. The clause at 52.214-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.215-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and a statement regarding which, if any, of the additional FAR clauses cited in the clause are applicable to the acquisition.
