- This is a Request for Information (RFI). The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity ( USAMRAA) is seeking potential sources capable of providing firm-fixed-price services for the United States Army Research Institute of Environmental Medicine (USARIEM). USARIEM has a research facility on the top of Pikes Peak located at 11680 Pikes Peak Toll Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Contractor shall provided required housing for approximately twenty staff and test volunteers in Colorado Springs, Colorado from 1 June 2016 (by 1500 hours) to 31 August 2016 with easy access to Pikes Peak Highway for daily commuting. Individual hotel accommodations are not feasible - investigators must be teamed up with the test volunteers overnight to monitor oxygen levels and other vital signs. The facility must have five 2-bedroom apartments with each bedroom having two twin beds; this is to accommodate 20 research staff and test volunteers. All personnel must be housed in same complex to facilitate daily transport to Pikes Peak Laboratory. Housing must be located along I-25 and north of US 24 with fast access to Pikes Peak Highway so that daily traffic back-ups do not disrupt protocol scheduled testing due to commuting problems. Housing must be within walking distance of a grocery or convenience store should staff without vehicle access be required to pick up perishable supplies for test volunteers. Facility must have weekly housekeeping and be flexible on lease dates and able to accommodate housing for a three month period. The Thermal and Mountain Medicine Division (TMMD) and Military Nutrition Division (MND) will be conducting two research protocols at this research facility from 1 June 2016 until 31 August 2016. Provide five 2-bedroom / 2-bathroom apartment homes to include the following goods and services: * Tasteful furnishings and quality household goods * Kitchen with full-size appliances, stocked with pots, pans and dishes * Utilities (Electric/Gas, Water) * High-speed Internet / Wi-Fi * Basic cable service * Local phone service * Washer and Dryer in the apartment * Weekly housekeeping service to include linen exchange * Non-Smoking Accommodations * Each bedroom must have two twin size beds The Capability package shall include, at a minimum:1. Identification of the organization name, telephone number, and point of contact (also with title, phone, fax, and email); 2. Organization Size/ownership of business, i.e. large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), Disabled-Veteran, Veteran, Women-owned Business, and Hub-zone; 3. Cage Code, DUNS# and Tax ID# (TIN#); 4. Company profile: number of employees, annual sales history, locations and if CCR registered.; 5. Identification of any GSA Schedules held by the organization; 6. Experience and familiarity with subject services; 7. Contract references in the past five years relevant to the acquisition to include: contract number, agency supported, whether or not you were the prime or subcontractor, period of performance, original contract value, final or current contract value, technical monitor and phone/fax number, POC with current phone/fax number, and a brief description of the effort. This RFI does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or a Request for Proposals, nor should it be considered as a commitment on the part of the Government. The information received WILL NOT obligate the Government in any manner nor will the Government reimburse companies for any costs associated with submittal of this RFI. By submitting information in response to this RFI, respondents consent to the release and dissemination of submitted information to any Government or non-Government entity for information review. As such, to the extent that any information submitted in response to this RFI is marked as, or construed to be proprietary or business-sensitive, respondents are hereby notified (a) about the potential that such information may be disclosed to third parties and (b) that submission of information in response to this RFI constitutes consent to such handling and disclosure of submitted information. The North American Industries Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 531190. The Government requests responses to this RFI submitted NO LATER THAN 10 February 2016 at 1PM Eastern Standard Time. All Interested parties must submit in writing (no more than 10 pages, single spaced) their capabilities information including experience and familiarity with the said services.
