- *****PLEASE CONTACT WILL SMYSER ONLY FOR ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING THIS SOLICITATION AT WILLIAM.W.SMYSER@NASA.GOV. ALTHOUGH Jeannette Swearingen IS THE CONTRACTING OFFICER, PLEASE CONTACT WILLIAM.W.SMYSER@NASA.GOV FOR ALL QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS.***** This purpose of modification NNM16573650Q3 is to: 1. Extend the solicitation end date to 02/09/2016 12:00pm CST to allow adequate time to prepare quotes. 2. To address additional questions. The questions and answers provided are the result of a prior synopsis/solicitation, NNM16573650Q, for this requirement and are intended to provide additional information to support any response to this subsequent synopsis/solicitation, NNM16573650Q3 for subject requirement. Q1. In reference to the "battery backup controls" on the remote control panel, is the remote panel to be wireless or wired?" A1. Wired Q2. In reference to battery backup controls, what is the definition of "system data?" Is the intent to provide an annunciator panel showing status of low fluid level, oil overtemp, dirty filter etc., and maintain indication via battery back-up (at the remote location only)? A2. This battery is the type that is used to hold the PLC or program memory/system data that has been collected when powered off. It is not a UPS battery to operate during a power outage. Q3. In consideration of SOW requirements A, B as stated below: A Pump status of High/Low, offline, Standby. High/Low = pump running pressures. B 4000 psi (maximum, user-selectable pressure setting) It appears that the user selectable pressure setting desired is High at a single "preset" condition, and. Low at a "preset" condition (similar to a Hydraulic Pump cycle test set-up). A High/Low selector switch is to be included, is this correct, or is one of the below the intent: a) an infinitely adjustable pressure control desired to set the High setpoint as desired, whereas Low status simply means "unloaded" (minimum) pump pressure. b) an infinitely adjustable pressure control desired to set the High setpoint as desired, and, an infinitely adjustable pressure control for Low setpoint A3. b) is the intent: "an infinitely adjustable pressure control desired to set the High setpoint as desired, and, an infinitely adjustable pressure control for Low setpoint" *****PLEASE CONTACT WILL SMYSER ONLY FOR ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING THIS SOLICITATION AT WILLIAM.W.SMYSER@NASA.GOV.
