Description
SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS FOR A HAWAII AND GUAM REGIONAL MULTIPLE AWARD CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT (RMACC). THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. THIS IS A MARKET RESEARCH TOOL BEING USED TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL 8(A) BUSINESSES CAPABLE OF PERFORMING THESE CONTRACTS IN HAWAII AND GUAM. THE ANTICIPATED PRICE RANGE FOR TASK ORDERS ON THIS RMACC IS $3 THOUSAND TO $5 MILLION. IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT THE DURATION WILL RANGE FROM 5 TO 7 YEARS INCLUDING BASE AND OPTION YEARS. THE FOLLOWING IS THE ANTICIPATED GENERAL SCOPE FOR THE SOLICITATION: The purpose of this solicitation is to solicit a Regional Multiple-Award Construction Contract (RMACC) for Hawaii and Guam. Contractors will perform standard construction, repairs, alteration, design/build, design-bid-build contracts for general construction, marine construction, demolition, and historical restoration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in Hawaii, Guam and U.S. territories in the Pacific. Initial contracts will be competitively solicited and awarded. All orders will be solicited on a competitive basis among the firms, except for emergent work or other FAR 16.5 exception. Contractor selection will be based on Best-Value source selection. NAICS codes may include those for 236 and 237 (see http://www.census.gov/cgi-bin/sssd/naics/naicsrch?chart_code=23&search=2012) for descriptions.
