Description
map lineage The National Institutes of Health has a requirement for staff parking for authorized individuals at 6006 Executive Blvd. Rockville Maryland. The contractor shall provide 50 parking spaces and any electronic access card technology (if applicable) in the quantity, at the location, for employee safety, worker productivity, and also sufficient unencumbered access for disable staff, parking spaces shall be consistent with Montgomery County ordinances and building, the requested parking spaces shall be accessibility compliant and have unencumbered access to paved pedestrian pathway. Also the contractor shall furnish all necessary services, personnel, material, equipment, and facilities not otherwise provided by the Government as needed to deliver the services and contract requirements. 2) DELIVERABLES AND SPECIFICATIONS Independently, and not as an agent of the Government, the Contractor shall furnish all the necessary services, qualified personnel, material, equipment, and facilities not otherwise provided by the Government as needed to deliver the services and contract requirements specified below: Provide 50 parking spaces. The physical location of the Contractor’s parking facility shall be within the delineated area as further defined in Section 5) below. The Contractor will pay for all utilities in the parking facility. The Contractor is responsible for all repairs and maintenance of the parking facility to include (but not limited to) snow removal, light and ballast repair / replacement, cleaning, trash removal, elevator maintenance / testing, paint and restriping, caulking, crack (exceeding 0.25 inch width) or pothole repair, etc. The parking spaces are available exclusively for NIH use. Should any parking space under contract become unusable or unbillable for any reason or for any amount of time, Contractor agrees to abate space rent on a pro rata basis which properly reflects the number of unusable spaces. An “authorized individual” is herein defined as a NIH Federal employee or contracted staff whose duty station is 6006 Executive Blvd and who has been approved by the COR to park a vehicle in the Contractor’s parking facility. Authorized individuals parking in the parking spaces shall have unrestricted access to their parked vehicles. While parking in the parking spaces, authorized individuals shall be required to self-park and secure their vehicles. The Contractor’s parking facility must have 24-day, 7 days / week entry and exit access to accommodate authorized individuals who work early mornings, late evenings, weekend or holidays. Contractor shall provide means of access to the parking spaces (including, for example, any electronic access card technology, if applicable). The Contractor shall not be required to have a full or part-time attendant on site. There shall be no requirement for authorized individuals to leave their vehicle keys with any parking attendant. No double parking will be allowed.
