Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company, 13600 EDS Way, Herndon, VA, 20171 for the annual maintenance for HP eDiscovery software such as IDOL SERVER RETRIEVAL, ALH, and Fetch Module Bundle. The authority for this acquisition is "Test Program for Certain Commercial Items". The acquisition will be a sole source as described at FAR 13.501(a). Hewlett Packard is the only source known to the Government that sells the HP eDiscovery software products and maintenance. The Government anticipates award of a single, firm-fixed price purchase order for a one-year period. Written responses to this notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. This is not a request for quotation, and the Government does not intend to pay for information received. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions and submissions in response to this notice must be submitted in writing by 12:00 pm, ET February 19, 2016 to Rick.Bolt@ssa.gov.
