- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center (CPD-C&P3) is seeking qualified sources that can provide Yanmar parts to support the USCG CB-OTH MK II-23' Zodiac, CB-OTH MK III-23' Zodiac, CB-M 17' Zodiac, and the SRP-23' Zodiac boats. All parts supplied must be genuine Yanmar parts - no substitute or aftermarket parts shall be expected. It is the Government's intent to issue a solicitation for the award of two (2) fixed-price Requirements-type contracts consisting of one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The information obtained from this notice is for market research only and will be used to determine the method of procurement including whether to set-aside the procurement for small business or other set-aside programs. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 811310 and the small business size standard is $7.5M. It is Government's belief that only Yanmar, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or their authorized dealers/distributors can provide these parts and ensure exact fit, form, and function, with existing equipment. All technical and engineering data is proprietary to the OEM and therefore is not available for release. However, sources capable of providing these exact parts may submit their capabilities to this office within ten (10) calendar days from the date this notice is published. Information submitted must include (1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the capability of the Offeror; (2) acceptability of the offered parts (i.e., salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics) and/or (3) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the Original Equipment Manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the information relative to the above requirements. Inquiries/information received after the established deadline shall NOT be considered for this acquisition. The submission of this data for review shall not impede award of this contract. The Government does NOT intend to pay for information solicited. For information regarding this acquisition contact the Contracting officials listed herein.
