Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Acquisition and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center intends to renew its annual subscription for ProjNet DrChecks application services through the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS), 1090 Vermont Avenue, NW Suite 700, Washington, D.C., 20005-4950, pursuant to 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." The subscription will be a firm-fixed-price contract for 12 months plus two 12-month option periods, if exercised. The solicitation number assigned to this effort is VA118-16-R-0903. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The NAICS Code/Size is 541519/$27.5M. This purchase is to be processed using FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. For requirements, see attached RFP# VA118-16-R-0903 and supporting Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition. The closing date for this notice is February 17, 2015 at 11:00AM EST.
