Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO 6) for the Health Care Center (HHC) in Charlotte, NC is conducting market research through this RFI / Sources Sought Notice to seek contract sources for purchase of Brand Name or Equal to Starkey Laboratories, Inc. for Audiology Video-Otoscope Equipment. New Equipment ONLY; NO remanufactured or "gray market" items. All items must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Delivery will be 30 days after receipt of order. Required Items are listed below: STARMED GEN 7 VO System, No Monitor and No Printer. 4 Each. Optional VO Carts 24 "Wide X 20" Deep X 39" High. 4 Each. Audiology requires video-otoscope equipment to support detailed inspection of the external auditory canal and tympanic membrane and to support cerumen management for patients seen in the service. 1.Unit must operate free of any requirement for a PC. 2.Must incorporate a cart to house the unit and viewing monitor. 3.Video otoscope head holder must be included. 4.Unit must allow cerumen management curette to mount on rod lenses. 5.Unit must be lit by an LED light source. 6.The unit and any accessories must meet any current regulatory standards for hospital equipment. 7.Must include any user manual, specification manual, or accessories as needed to support ongoing operations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 334510 Size Standard: 500, and the Classification code is 6515. A determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
