- J&A Sole Source (Redacted) Specification Package Combined Synopsis/Solicitation This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.603 and as supplemented with FAR Part 13.5 and the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. All correspondence regarding this acquisition shall reference Request for Quote (RFQ) Number: HSCG40-16-Q-P30816. This solicitation and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-85 (JAN 2016). The NAICS code for this solicitation is 336611 and the Small Business Size Standard is 1000. The U.S. Coast Guard Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC), Small Boat Product Line, intends to award a firm-fixed price contract for the Unplanned DryDock on CG 42002, assigned to CG Sta. Chatham. Pursuant to FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii), it is anticipated that a non-competitive contract shall be awarded to Safe Boats International as a result of this synopsis/solicitation based on urgency as documented herein.
