Description

The Government contemplates purchase of two (2) factory new 40 Ton AMS Aircraft Sledge Systems PN: 10060-84A NSN: 3990-99-734-7090. The sledge system is an extremely low platform that is designed to move aircraft with partial landing gear or no landing gear. Its main use is to move damaged aircraft into repair facilities. The sledge systems shall meet the following requirements: •· Systems must have at least a 40 ton weight capacity. •· Systems must include rigging attachments and spreader bar. •· Systems must allow for multi-directional positioning under the aircraft. (Sledge has multiple connection points that allow them to be connected at different angles.) •· Systems must be compatible with all standard airbags up to 40 ton. (Examples include 12 ton air bag NSN: 1730-99-331-1286, 25 ton airbag NSN: 1730-99-027-6752, 30 ton airbag NSN: 1730-99-396-0262, and 40 ton airbag NSN: 1730-99-496-0875.) •· Systems must have dimensions of at least 190" X 98" x 4" when in operation. •· Systems must be capable of operation on soft and firm surfaces including grass, mud, dirt, gravel, asphalt, and concrete.
