- Description
- The US Forest Service on the Savannah River Site in South Carolina has a requirement for road construction and reconstruction activities within the boundaries of the Savannah River Site. This project includes all road easements and right-of-ways to consist of construction and reconstruction associated with gravel and native-surfaced single and double-lane roads, parking lots, soil and water restoration, facility grounds, well sites, turnarounds, drainage structures, clearing and grubbing, earthwork, road surfacing and resurfacing, rip-rap installation, soil and water restoration, and turf establishment or other activities similar in nature. Task order will have detailed information and quantities. The Savannah River Site is located 10 miles east of Aiken, South Carolina and is a secured site managed by the Department of Energy with restricted access. The proposed requirement will be a single award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Firm Fixed Price Contract. The performance period is a base period and three (3) one-year options. Total amount to be awarded under the resultant contract is $975,000.00 over the life of the contract. The guaranteed minimum is $2,500.00 over the life of the contract. A bid guarantee of 20% is required. Performance and Payments bonds will be required of the awardee. No site visit is planned. This is a 100% small business set aside. The solicitation will be available on this site on or about 25 February 2016. Only mailed/delivered proposals will be accepted. No emailed or faxed proposals will be accepted.
