- This requirement was a sole source Firm Fixed price and Time & Material hybrid contract. The CLIN for the T&M portion is for Emergency repair, parts & material for the Electon Beam Welder. It is not possible to accuratel estimate the extent or duration of work to acticipate costs with any reasonable degree of confidence for the 'emergency repair' to include parts and materials for the Electron Beam Welder. The degree of repair is based on the actual condition of the equipment as determined by inspection, testing, occurence of a specific event or the expiration of operating time limits. It is not possible at this time to estimate the quantity or types of replacement parts, the extent of the required services or to anticipate costs with any substantial degree of accurancy. There is no way to define the extent of repair required until the reparable item first fail and then are inspected and disassembled.
