- AMENDMENT NOTICE:This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.The solicitation number is Drum2016 and is issued as an invitation for bids (IFB), unless otherwise indicated herein.The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-86. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541611 with a small business size standard of $15.00M.This requirement is unrestricted and only qualified offerors may submit bids.The solicitation pricing on www.FedBid.com will start on the date this solicitation is posted and will end on 2016-03-22 14:00:00.0 Eastern Time or as otherwise displayed at www.FedBid.com.FOB Destination shall be in the Place of Performance. The MICC Fort Drum requires the following items, Purchase Description Determined by Line Item, to the following: LI 001: Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Drum plans to conduct a Small Business vendor outreach and acquisition forecast open house event at Bruce M. Wright Memorial Conference Center 1291 Faichney Drive, Watertown on March 29, 2016 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM EST. The purpose of the event is to expand small business vendor awareness of MICC procurements. To register, send an e-mail to Stephen Barr, PTAC Program Manager, containing the company name, attendees name, phone number, and e-mail address of the attendee. In addition, prior to the Fort Drum Small Business vendor outreach, the North Country Procurement Technical Assistance Center will be hosting a Matchmaker event from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM EST. The Matchmaker event is intended to give an opportunity for vendors to meet one on one with representative from the military, federal agencies, state and local governments, and large prime agencies who are looking for qualified businesses to buy products and services for government contract needs. More information about the Matchmaker can be found at www.northcountryptac.com or by calling (315) 788-4400. There is an admission fee to the Matchmaker. You do not have to attend the Matchmaker to Participation in the Fort Drum Small Business vendor outreach and there is no fee for the Business vendor outreach., 1, JOB; Solicitation and Buy Attachments ***Question Submission: Interested offerors must submit any questions concerning the solicitation at the earliest time possible to enable the Buyer to respond. Questions must be submitted by using the 'Submit a Question' feature at www.fedbid.com. Questions not received within a reasonable time prior to close of the solicitation may not be considered.*** For this solicitation, MICC Fort Drum intends to document bids online to be facilitated by the third-party Marketplace, FedBid, Inc. FedBid has developed an online, anonymous, browser based application to document pricing. Offerors may submit bids during the specified period of time. MICC Fort Drum is taking this action in an effort to improve both vendor access and awareness of requests and the agency's ability to gather multiple, competed, real-time bids.All responsible Offerors that respond to this solicitation MUST submit the pricing portion of their bid using the online exchange located at www.FedBid.com. There is no cost to register, review procurement data or make a bid on www.FedBid.com.Offerors that are not currently registered to use www.FedBid.com should proceed to www.FedBid.com to complete their free registration. Information submitted must be in sufficient detail to allow for a thorough government review of firm's interest and capabilities.
